TEAMBPLUS SELECTION SEEKS: WELDING AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN

TEAMBPLUS SEARCH for automotive sector plant.

Company dedicated to the manufacture of parts by cold stamping, welding, tooling and assembly of components for the automotive, white goods and aeronautical sectors.

Vacant Position : WELDING INDUSTRIALIZATION TECHNICIAN.

Location : Martorell (Barcelona).

Reports to : Process Engineering Manager.

Mission :

Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (flexibility of entries and exits).

Description and Functions :

• Prepare the designs of new parts in line with the appropriate production processes.
• Industrialization of new ones following the production guidelines set by the plant or group and corresponding quality standards. Define the pre-process and the pre-production method for the industrialization of the new products awarded, taking into account the optimization of the cost and the feasibility of the part.
• Monitoring and improvement of the current processes of the Welding plant (Martorell). Promote occupational health and safety in the welding plant.
• Keep the tools, software and machinery used in good condition. Comply with and enforce the PRL standards established in the company using PPE's and working safely. Ensure the correct state of existing equipment, software and machinery.
• Support to the manager for awarding new products and supplier management.
• Management of suppliers of materials to manage the associated production processes.
• Occasional visits to suppliers (most located within Spain).

Requirements :

• Training Industrial Technical Engineering.
• Valuable experience in a similar position of at least 3-5 years in the Automotive sector and aluminum welding for automobiles.
• Valuable knowledge of Methods and Times, Lean Manufacturing and Welding.
• Languages: fluent English essential. Valuable intermediate level of German.
• Driving license and own vehicle.
• Knowledge and management of office automation, AutoCad and Catia, Cimatron, Autoform.

Salary: between €30,000-€40,000 BA.
