Company with 70 years of experience in the manufacture of parts by cold stamping, welding, die-making and component assembly for the automotive, white goods and aeronautical sectors, with our clients being the main manufacturers.

Vacant Position : WELDING USABLE ADJUSTMENTS TECHNICIAN.

Location : Santa Perpetua de Mogoda (Pol. Santiga).

Reports to : Shift Manager.

Schedule: rotating shifts M/T/N (change every 2 weeks).

Description and Functions :

• Mechanical and functional adjustment of welding tools, for arc and resistance welding.
• Correctly adjust welding parameters such as current, voltage and travel speed to ensure proper fusion and avoid defects.
• Ensure a stable arc and fluid movements to achieve a uniform and strong joint.
• Implementation of productive means.
• Perform a visual inspection to verify that there are no cracks or porosities, and make necessary corrections if necessary.
• Improvements and preventive measures in welding tools.

Requirements:

• CGSM Training Maintenance and Production Services.
• More than 3 years of experience in a similar position and business sector.
• Advanced mechanical knowledge of adjustment and commissioning of welding tools.
• Knowledge of manual TIG/MIG welding.
